Considering the need to aid new and upcoming bloggers and lovers of technology, I have decided to share tutorials on ways to genuinely generate some revenue on your blog/website using your laptop, tablet or phone. This tutorial is typically on the popular adnetwork "Google AdSense" where publishers convert their passion into income.
Without further waste of time, let us quickly have an overview of this ad network.

The Google Adsense chain or cycle

Google adsense has three basic parts:

1. Google Adwords: Where companies buy/ pay for adverts
2. Google Adsense: Where blog/website owners agree to host ads paid for by companies
3. Google Web bots: The bot software/ mechanism that decides which ads to display on any page.

AdSense works by matching text and display ads to your site based on the contents of your website and your visitors. The ads are created and paid for by companies or advertisers who want to promote their products rapidly online. Since these advertisers pay different prices for different ads, the amount you earn as a publisher will vary.


Before you can apply for AdSense, below are the things you need and conditions.

* you must have An active website or blog.
* your website/blog must be completely constructed, simple and must not contain broken images or links.
* your website/blog must have acceptable, unique and tangible contents. (At least 50 posts and above)
* your website/blog must have an acceptable number of daily unique visitors and acceptable traffic.
* It is recommended that you apply using a custom domain, I.e .com, .net, .ng, .com.ng, etc.
* your website/blog should be updated regularly especially during the application period.
* your website must not contain pornography or any sexually explicit content.
* your website must not contain too many popups, images or videos, etc.
